About the engineering paper
Engineering paper (often called engineering computation paper) is the pale green pad used in engineering and physics courses. The grid runs five squares to the larger block, with a heavier line marking every fifth, and margin rules across the top and down the left. Traditionally the grid is printed faintly so that work written over it photocopies cleanly — the same reason the lines here are kept light.
