Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

MathSheetLab (“we”, “us”) publishes free printable math charts and worksheets at mathsheetlab.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and specific rather than generic, because a privacy policy you can’t understand isn’t worth much.

The short version

  • You don’t need an account, and we never ask you to create one.
  • We don’t ask for your name, address or payment details — there is nothing to buy.
  • We use analytics to understand which printables people actually use.
  • We may show advertising, which involves third-party cookies.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Only what you choose to send. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we keep it for as long as we need to deal with your message. We don’t add it to a mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting and analytics record technical details of your visit: the pages you view, the page or search that sent you, approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city or region, not street level), your browser and device type, screen size, language, and the date and time of your visit. This is used in aggregate to see which printables are popular, which are broken, and where the site is slow.

Analytics and measurement

We use two analytics services:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — aggregate traffic measurement. Google processes this data as described in its privacy policy. You can opt out across all sites with Google’s browser add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — heatmaps and anonymised session replay, used to find layout and usability problems. Clarity masks text input by default. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Advertising

This site is free to use and is supported by advertising. Our advertising partners and their vendors may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show ads relevant to your interests. They may also receive your IP address, browser details and the pages you view on this site.

We do not receive or store the personal information these partners collect, and we do not sell your personal information. Where the law requires consent for personalised advertising — including the EU, UK and other applicable regions — you will be shown a consent notice, and you can change your choice at any time through that notice. Residents of California and other US states with similar laws may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising using the same notice, or by emailing us.

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for analytics, for advertising as described above, and to remember your choices (for example, a chart size or color option you picked, or your response to the consent notice). We don’t use cookies to build a profile of you across unrelated websites.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them will not stop you printing or downloading anything here — the printables work regardless.

Children’s privacy

MathSheetLab is written for the adults who print the material — teachers, tutors, parents and homeschool educators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children may of course use the printed sheets; nothing on paper reports back to us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained in aggregate for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. Emails are kept only as long as they are useful for answering you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, receive a copy of it, or opt out of its sale or sharing. These rights apply under the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, the Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah consumer privacy acts, and comparable laws elsewhere.

To exercise any of them, email hello@mathsheetlab.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we will never charge you or treat you differently for asking. In practice we hold very little that identifies you — usually the fastest remedy is clearing this site’s cookies. If you are in the EU or UK and you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Data transfers

MathSheetLab is a United States site, served from a global content delivery network, and our analytics and advertising providers are based in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your technical data will be processed there, under the safeguards those providers maintain.

Links to other sites

We occasionally link to other websites. Once you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy applies, not ours, and we have no control over what it collects.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the page itself rather than made quietly.
