Which ruling do you need?
College ruled (about 7.1 mm between lines) is the high school and university standard — it fits the most writing on a page. Wide ruled (about 8.7 mm) leaves more room and is what most elementary and middle-school notebooks use.Handwriting paper rules three lines per row with a dashed midline, so children still learning letter heights can see where each letter starts and stops.
Printing tips

What is the difference between college ruled and wide ruled paper?
Wide ruled lines sit about 8.7 mm apart; college ruled about 7.1 mm. Wide ruled gives roughly 27 lines to a page and suits younger writers, college ruled about 33 and suits smaller handwriting.
What is primary lined paper?
Paper ruled with three lines per row — a solid top line, a dashed midline and a solid baseline — so young children can judge letter height. It is also sold as handwriting paper or kindergarten lined paper.
How do I print lined paper properly?
Print at 100% scale rather than "fit to page", so the line spacing comes out at its true size. Every sheet here is drawn for US Letter.
Can I write on it digitally?
These are print-first PDFs, but the PNG works as a background image in most note-taking apps if you prefer to write on a tablet.
