About these worksheets
When regrouping is brand new, mixed sheets waste half their problems on sums that don’t carry. Here every problem regroups — the ones column always breaks ten — so a child gets twenty consecutive reps of the new move: write the ones digit, carry the little 1, add it in. Once it’s comfortable, switch to the mixed addition sheet so they practise noticing when to carry.
