How to learn the 8 times table

To multiply by 8, double three times: 8 × 6 → 12 → 24 → 48. The 8s are also the 4s doubled, so they land quickly once the 4s are automatic. Every answer is even, and the ones digits cycle 8, 6, 4, 2, 0.
